It is watches. That is, literally, a drop in the bucket when it comes to sales. Android and SO are producers of tourbillons. They have already made many more tourbillons than Renato will ever make. They have more tourbillons in the works.
We are happy that they are. And they are more than welcome to do so as far as WatchGeeks goes. Ask either Wing or Larry if they have ever even been remotely inhibited when it comes to that. They will tell you that they have not. As a matter of fact, both Larry and Wing can tell you that I have personally told them to do more here on WatchGeeks. I have personally told the both of them specific things that they should try to do. I have done the same with them.
This site is for any of the vendors to advertise their products. To promote their products. To interact with the fans of their brands. This was true before Invicta owned the site and this has been true since Invicta bought the site.

That he was protecting the members and Daniel never responded back to his e-mails. So, Daniel read this and responded back that he was insulted and wanted to be removed from the site and was opening his on web-site. I just think it got out of hand. But I understand the decision and respect it. I wish them well and still will support them. Remember, he denied Geek questions several different times here on Watch Geeks that he was reissuing and selling the exact same size, color, dial configuration and even Model Number watches that had sold through their originally advertised maximum limited number production.
When confronted with the photographic evidence, his response was that ShopNBC made him do it because it was a popular watch. While who did what in what sequence is always interesting there is a way bigger issue here. The failure to learn what Freedom of Speech means.
Watchgeeks is not the US government and has the right to tell us to shut the hell up. Go start your own forum and see how you like everyone telling you how to run it. We should have all learned our lesson months ago. I questioned Minks business model and called his Black Card Club exactly what it was, a cash grab. Got looked at as a troublemaker and rabble rouser then. Probably will still get looked at that way too, as long as the TOS of this site prohibits free exchange of ideas.
But I can still purchase what I like and discuss it here Thanks for the info Michael. I like the Renato brand but am a bit disappointed about how things have turned out with some of their products. With that said, their Mostro is simply awesome! Until this happened, I thought Invicta, Renato, and Sthurling were all the same watch company, just different lables smacked on the watches.
Now I know I was wrong. Originally Posted by brimsauce Until this happened, I thought Invicta, Renato, and Sthurling were all the same watch company, just different lables smacked on the watches. Why in the world would you think that? The companies do not have have never had anything to do with one another. All righty then, since like you are all saying -- Bill Gates owns everything Originally Posted by meijin Why in the world would you think that?
Almost makes you want to rethink the screening process to become a WG! Thanks for the info. Altho , I was never a big fan but still I could go on and on and on Dont kill me for it, just my opinion. I still have my order for the tourbillion and will post it when it arrives.
There was a part that had to made over and is almost ready to be assembled. Then there's always the option of facestalking.
I think I'm going through that change as well so I guess I can relate to Jim!! Very well put thanks my friend. Honestly, I'm already over this "whatever shall we do without Jim" sentiment.
He's not Watch Geeks. Bro life will go on spend time with your family there are many other people who know lot about watches. Thinking outside the box, wouldn't it be great to take his show to HSN, down in Florida.
He can return to. I do not think Jim is doing aything wrong. I do agree family should come first. I wished I did the same. Lost both jobs within one month and. I've learned from recent experience that you don't take anything for granted, yourg or older. Family time. Enjoy your family time Jim, pray that all is well. See Full Reader. Jim Skelton leaving Download Report. Thank you for the great info. I don't think anybody has ever put one up, just like Invicta what the man in the box says isn't always the truth took alot of time and many of my book marked pages to put this together.
Hope everyone enjoys this. If something is wrong please add to this. Thanks Ocean. Re: Renato history death and rebirth Post by mrneddles » Mon Apr 30, pm Thanks for putting that together! One question, where did you get the 30 million in sales in figure? That seems extraordinarily high, especially in light of the economy beginning it's tanking in Re: Renato history death and rebirth Post by mrneddles » Tue May 01, am I would have to get a pen, paper, and calculator out to do the math.
I will leave it as fact for now till I or anyone else can disprove it. I think they truthfully added a 0. Here is an example of a post-Mink family Daniel Mink model of mine, the Tempus. Swiss Made, ETA , sapphire, great retro-military looks. An overall very nice timepiece. Re: Renato history death and rebirth Post by Ocean » Sat May 18, am Bump, any thoughts now that it has been a year since putting this together. Re: Renato history death and rebirth Post by eddiea » Sat May 18, am I never own one, but somehow thought they were better made and like the general outlook better than the other TV brands.
Re: Renato history death and rebirth Post by mrneddles » Sat May 18, am The brand, though still alive, remains stuck in , with persistent 50mm cases. Now adding mineral crystals instead of sapphire. Embossed alligator straps instead of genuine. Cheap quartz movements despite the call for automatics.
Prices remain department store silly high. Re: Renato history death and rebirth Post by Ocean » Fri Aug 09, am since it has been awhile. The company no longer has any kind of association with SHQP. It no longer has its own website from which to shill, er, sell. It does have a deal going with World of Watches, but WoW is only offering 17 of their models, and about half of those are clearance priced.
To sum it up succinctly, I believe that Renato is on life-support; they can't be making any real money on WoW, which means that there're no more "new" models, and hence nothing to keep their customers -- or fan base, if they still have one -- coming back.
